Chianti Classico Gran Selezione

Chianti is a red wine produced in the Tuscany region of Italy, made primarily from the Sangiovese grape. Chianti Classico is a specific sub-region within the larger Chianti region, known for producing high-quality wines. Gran Selezione is the highest designation of quality within the Chianti Classico region, indicating that the wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, aged for a minimum of 30 months, and produced from the winery's own vineyards. The Gran Selezione designation was introduced in 2014 to recognize and promote the top-quality wines produced in the Chianti Classico region.
