Domaine Giraud, established in 1974 by Pierre and Mireille, is a relatively young winery rooted in the rich viticultural history of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Pierre, a sixth-generation winegrower, hails from a venerable lineage of vignerons.
 
The majority of the vineyards are situated in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with a small plot of 60-year-old Grenache. The estate encompasses diverse terroirs, with prominent sites like Les Galimardes and Le Crau featuring red clay and gravelly soils. The estate received ECOCERT certification in 2011.
