NV Moscato di Noto Many will be familiar with this producer from their Sikéle orange wine -- a rare find as an orange for under $25. In turn, this sparking is a perfectly smashable summer bottle for natural wine lovers looking for something easy, but not boring, to crush in the park or bring to a party. A dry take on moscato, this sparking offers pronounced minerality, and notes of honey, ginger, butterscotch, and stonefruit. Versatile with food, but delightful on its own! All wines are fermented with indigenous yeasts, un-refrigerated and lightly filtered with natural products, suitable for vegans. Hand harvested grapes are from vineyards in the Noto region, in white, calcareous soil. Vinified in concrete tanks, then Méthode Ancestrale, [or Pétillant Naturel] is employed, bottling is before the end of fermentation, with the wine finished in the bottle.
