Grenache is a wine known to take it's time to unwind in bottle. The typically ample and brash tannins and delicate and pure fruit of the wine take time to resolve and unwind. While this wine is showing beautifully now, additional time in bottle will lead to further softening and melding of the fruit. A layered nose of higher toned kirsch fruit layered on richer notes of dried fig and black cherries. Bright and vibrant on the palate with mouth coating fruit that finishes long with crushed rock mineralogy and bright fruit notes.
