Brilliant ruby red with purple reflections. Fruity, fragrant nose with notes of black fruits, wild berries and plums. In addition, dried herbs, a hint of almonds and hints of violets. Full-bodied on the palate, fruity, with a juicy, well-integrated acidity and ripe tannins. Again lots of dark fruit and some chocolate. Long, thoroughly complex and polished finish with high drinking flow. Goes well with roasts, grilled and mature cheeses.
