The 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis Aux Chesaux 1er Cru includes 15% whole bunch and 20% new oak. It has a well-defined bouquet of blackberry blueberry and light crushed stone aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit firm grip in the mouth and impressive density toward the finish. It is a robust Morey-Saint-Denis but it will gain more elegance with bottle age.
