A blend of equal parts Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre aged 6 months in concrete tanks, the 2016 Les Traverses boasts a deep ruby/plum color as well as a ripe opulent, sexy personality. Plums, black cherries, licorice, garrigue, and chocolate all emerge from this full-bodied, concentrated 2016 that’s loaded with fruit. It's not going to make old bones, but wow, what a terrific little fruit bomb.
