A ripe nose offers up notes of mildly exotic honey, white peach, apricot and ocean breeze nuances. There is fine richness, indeed the mid-palate is opulent, but also very good delineation to the to the powerful flavors that culminate in a bitter lemon-inflected finish that is sufficiently firm to suggest that this should benefit from 5-ish or so years of cellaring. I would make the same observation here that this isn't exactly classic but is a lovely wine all the same. Outstanding.
