All from estate fruit and a blend of 45% Xarel·lo, 33% Macabeu, and 22% Parellada, the 2014 CLAROR Brut Nature Gran Reserva Cava de Paraje Calificada was fermented mostly in tank yet had 10% in barrels, and spent 60 months in bottle before disgorgement. It has a terrific, subtle, yet complex bouquet of more stone fruits, white flowers, and subtle toasty, nutty notes. These carry to a beautifully pure, polished Cava with a great texture, bright yet integrated acidity, and a crisp finish. It's a stunning sparkling wine that ranks with the finest Cava out there.
