Made from 100% Nebbiolo from the comunes of La Morra and Barolo. There you’ll find Barolo’s signature calcareous, chalky soils. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for approximately 15 days. After, the wine will mature for 24 months in wood, with 12 of those in barrique. This delectable wine is medium garnet turning to brickish color when mature. The nose will feature aromas of ted fruits, tobacco with some floral undertones. Gainining complexity with bottle aging. The flavor will be of red fruit and cherries in its youth, turning to leather & tobacco with a faint truffle note when mature. Medium-bodied. Alc. 13.5% to 14.5%. Pairs well with mushroom Risotto with truffles, Braised beef, lamb stew, roasts and game.
