Brouilly is the southernmost village and also the largest Cru. Named after Mont Brouilly in the center of the appellation. The unique soil consists of a special blue / black volcanic rock. The wines that are made here are surprisingly versatile. Sparkling red color with purple shimmer. Full of fragrance, with an attractive touch of flint and lots of red cherries. Plums, cloves and bay leaves on the palate, fleshy, with impressions of fruitcake. Velvety, ripe and a long finish with earthy terroir.
