The 2020 Akakies rosé is a dry Xinomavro sourced from vines in Amyndeon. It is unoaked and comes in at 13% alcohol this year. About 90% of the juice comes from skin contact, the rest from the saignée method. This has a predictable style, and it is pretty consistent from year to year. It's fresh but solid, with exuberant fruit in its youth and a little Xinomavro distinctiveness in the background. It goes down easy and tastes great.
