This year's Land of Saints comes from SLO, which just got its own AVA status. The nose shows a terrific mix of red and black fruits with dark cherry and raspberry kept in balance by some savory herb/ oak notes. The palate is just shy of moderate weight with good acid and a good presence of fruits balanced by savory spice notes.
