A mildly funky nose is comprised by notes of wood toast and reduction. Otherwise there is much better volume and mid-palate density to the supple and rounded flavors that immediately tighten up on the focused, muscular and overtly powerful finish. This excellent if robust and youthfully austere effort will absolutely require extended patience.
