"The 2015 Jequitibá is a blend of Viura and 10% Garnacha Blanca and Malvasía Riojana, from old vineyards on different soils in the village of Laguardia from a ripe vintage. The full clusters were pressed and fermented in demi-muid, 1,000- and 2,000-liter oak vats. It was kept in contact with the lees for seven months. It had a clean and transparent nose of waxy apples, fruit driven with hints of fennel and bay leaf, balsamic and lightly medicinal. The palate is nicely textured, with clean, focused flavors and good balance, elegant and harmonious. Really pleasant. 7,000 bottles were filled in June 2016."
