A solid wine, dark purple, multi-layer aromas of blackberries, pickled plums, pepper, vegetal hints of blackberry and wet leaves and a little tobacco on the nose. Over time it becomes more fragrant and spicy in the glass. On the palate strong, coarse-grained tannins that soften with a little air, medium acidity and a full and heavy body with dark berry aromas. The finish is long and slightly astringent.
