"Estate vines located in La Morra, facing east. Each vine is pruned carefully, to ensure very low yields. The age of the vines are 35 years, on average. Hand-harvested, fermented on indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Aged 12 months in tonneaux (30% new) and 25HL “botti,” then eight months in tank. Unfined and unfiltered. Aromas of black cherries, plum skin, hints of mocha, warm leather. Deep and savory, great length."
