This wine takes fruit from the estate's oldest Dijon vines, barrel ferments it and ages it in 20% new French oak. It's pleasingly toasty, full-bodied and flavorful, with chunky fruit flavors of apple, pear and peach. There's an underlying minerality along with a smooth, buttery, nutty finish.
