The 2020 Medianías has one of the highest alcohol levels here, at 13.2%. This time it was produced with Listán Negro from three vineyards: Habanera, Camino Los Pasitos and Fortaceros, all ancient and pruned in cordón trenzado. It fermented in concrete with 20% full clusters, and part of the wine matured in a 2,500-liter oak foudre and the rest in concrete for nine months. It's somehow more fruit-driven and juicy, easy to drink, with less complexity than the 2019.
