Named after Tasca d’Almerita’s coat of arms, Leone is a superbly crafted blend of Catarratto, Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gewurztraminer. To preserve its fresh and fruit-forward character, the grapes are cool-fermented in stainless steel. Bright lemon-green in color, Leone offers aromas of pink grapefruit, orange blossom, white peach, and pineapple. On the palate, it is fruit-forward and rich with good acidity and a pleasant finish. Pair this wine with calamari fritti, remoulades, roasted chicken, and migas.
