Terroir expression is perhaps nowhere more evident than in the difference between the Kabinetts from different vineyard sites. The Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard is a rocky site, with plenty of blue slate. The wine is bright and light on the nose, with fragrant floral fruit characters. The palate is pure, citrus-led and delicate, elegant and sophisticated to the long, refreshing finish.
