The Rocca family has a long history in winemaking, with vineyards in Barbaresco dating back to 1834. Bruno Rocca took over the family business in 1978 and became a prominent figure in the wine renaissance of the Langhe area in the 1980s. Today, Bruno's children, Luisa and Francesco, are also involved in the winery. The estate produces around 60,000 bottles per year from its 15 hectares of vineyards, including prestigious sites in Barbaresco and vineyards in Vinchio for Barbera d'Asti.
The key to Bruno Rocca's exceptional wines lies in the quality of the fruit grown in his vineyards. Sustainable practices are followed, with no chemical use and leguminous plants planted between the rows. The wines are a result of continuous research and reflect both the terroir and the winemaker's personality.
