Subtle at first, this lovely Barbaresco wafts out of the glass with crushed cherry and raspberry aromas supported by rose bud, sandalwood and savory herbs. Giving, but with great structure, the core of fruit on the palate is pristine, yielding to well-crafted tannins, lifted acidity and an earthy finish. Drink 2026–2040.
