The 2024 Grüner Veltliner Ried Achleiten Smaragd comes from two plots above the Achleiten Tor, on 12 to 15 terraces. The densely planted vines are now about 70 years old. The nose is unusually juicy and vivid, with ripe red-green apple that is fresh and appetizing. On the palate, it is wonderfully smooth, ripe, bright, fresh, sinuous and full of energy. The 2024 has exquisite balance and drive alongside longevity.
