A racy and subtle nose, showing minerals and dusty red berries and strawberries, together with spice, dried flowers and a hint of orange peel. This is dry, elegant and nicely austere with firm, stony tannins that round off the palate, providing a tense and chalky feel with a linear sensation. This is a pure and transparent expression of sangiovese that will improve with time. Drinkable now, but better from 2024.
