Le Portail 2021 is made using 100% Chenin Blanc; the nose has enticing aromas of fresh white flowers, acacia blossom and honeysuckle. These floral notes are complemented by delicate hints of ripe citrus, lemon zest and juicy mandarin, adding a zesty and refreshing dimension to the aroma. The palate is silky and medium-bodied, with the fruity character being beautifully integrated with a gentle minerality, showcasing the limestone-rich soils of the region. Drinking well now, but with the potential to age for some years yet.
