The 2021er Dautenpflänzer Riesling GG, as it is referred to on the consumer label, has a delicately ripe and aromatic nose of lily flowers, canned yellow peach, William’s pear, orange blossom, may tree, violet, and a dash of litchi. The wine is playful and zesty on the palate, where fresh flavors of orchard fruits make for a very attractive side. The finish is long and bone-dry in taste, with a hint of tartness in need of integration. This fruit-driven and aromatic dry wine will please lovers of the style. 2024-2031
