About This Wine

Mauro Veglio is a benchmark La Morra estate producing classic Barolo from nineteen hectares across La Morra, Monforte d'Alba and Barolo, farmed sustainably with no more than 30% new oak. This is the estate's classic Barolo, a blend across its holdings that captures the signature "tar and roses" character of Nebbiolo from the heart of Piedmont.

Ruby red of medium intensity with garnet hues. The nose is intense and harmonic, with ethereal, captivating nuances and a final note of red fruit. Warm and balanced on the palate, with the fine tannins and bright acidity that define age-worthy Barolo.
