A blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc, aged in 75% new French oak, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain will be the last year to include the 1984 planting in Klipsun Vineyard. Deep ruby-hued, with terrific purity in its red and black fruits, leafy herbs, graphite, and leather-like aromas and flavors, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a pure, layered, seamless mouthfeel, and present yet polished, supple tannins.
