Stillman Street is way better than its California Chardonnay competition. At 13.2% alcohol, it reminds us of a Pouilly-Fuissé from a classic vintage — a healthy dose of pear and yellow apple with just enough cream and hazelnut to tuck-in the finish. With "Sonoma County" on the label, most of the fruit comes from family vineyards in Sonoma's Alexander Valley, rounded-out by a small percentage of Mendocino County fruit, which gives this wine its cool and breezy appeal on the palate.
