The 2023 Chablis Vau de Vey 1er Cru has a light apple peel and earthy bouquet that needs more vigor. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry, thanks to the acidity that keeps this on its toes. This is not complex and misses substance on the finish, but it's nicely made.
