Jean-Claude Berrout, former winemaker of Chateau Petrus, has been working with Tapiz as a consultant for more than a decade. This is the second wine that he personally made for the winery. It's an elegant Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend from San Pablo in Uco Valley. The enchanting nose offers aniseed, black olive and truffles. It has depth and delicious ripe flavors of plums and blueberries wrapped in chocolate, while hints of mushrooms and truffles add to its complexity. Lively acidity and firm tannins suggest good aging potential. Drink now through 2033.
