About This Wine

Viña Alicia was founded in 1996 by Alicia Mateu de Arizu, of the Arizu family — grape growers and viticultural pioneers in Argentina for five generations, often called the "Mondavis of Mendoza." This Malbec comes from their Las Compuertas vineyard in Luján de Cuyo, the oldest producing Malbec vineyard in Mendoza, planted over 150 years ago on the banks of the Mendoza River.

A deep, elegant old-vine Malbec with concentrated black and red fruit, floral lift and the fine-grained structure that these historic sandy-soil vines deliver.
