A ripe and complex if brooding nose features notes of dark berry fruit, earth and game along with plenty of spice nuances. There is good power to the concentrated and broad-shouldered flavors that are underpinned by relatively fine tannins on the impressively long finish. This firmly structured and very serious effort is also quite good.
