About This Wine

Viña Pérez Cruz is a family-owned boutique winery in the Alto Maipo, a red-wine specialist whose estate sits against the Andean foothills in the Huelquén area of the Maipo Andes. The Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is drawn from the Liguai estate's rocky alluvial and colluvial soils, aged twelve months in oak, with small portions of Carménère, Syrah and Petit Verdot adding complexity.

Smooth and juicy, with vibrant blackcurrant and ripe red fruits lifted by vanilla, black pepper, tobacco, cedar and nuances of wild herbs and mint. The palate is creamy and concentrated with fine, chalky tannins, a velvety texture and fresh, balanced acidity that reflects the cooling mountain air. A classic expression of Andean Cabernet.
