About This Wine

Pérez Cruz's Limited Edition Carmenère is the estate's signature take on Chile's emblematic grape, sourced from low-yielding, carefully managed blocks on the alluvial soils of the Liguai estate in the Huelquén area of Alto Maipo. Predominantly Carmenère with a touch of Petit Verdot or Cabernet, it is fermented and aged in French and American oak.

Deep red with a purple rim. The nose is complex and elegant — ripe black fruits and plum layered with olives, spice, mocha, cedar and the fine cooking-herb note characteristic of Alto Maipo. Full-bodied and well-structured, with ripe, supple tannins, fresh acidity and a long, smooth finish.
