About This Wine

Piedra Seca is Pérez Cruz's single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Huelquén in the Maipo Andes, a blend of roughly 92% Cabernet Sauvignon rounded out with Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Barrel-aged, it showcases the classic Andean Maipo character the estate is known for.

Bright, intense ruby in the glass. The nose is ripe with red and black fruits — strawberry, cherry, blackcurrant and blackberry — complemented by intense spicy notes of black pepper and eucalyptus and a subtle herbal, bay-leaf undertone. Medium-full to full-bodied and dry, with vibrant fresh acidity and robust, well-structured tannins carrying through an earthy, long and persistent finish.
