About This Wine

Pircas is Pérez Cruz's most ambitious Cabernet Sauvignon, made since 2010 from a selection of the estate's finest colluvial and alluvial blocks in the Huelquén area of Alto Maipo. Roughly 92% Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it is aged 16–18 months in French oak. A textbook Andean Cabernet.

Deep, intense ruby with purple hues. The nose is expressive and classic — cassis and ripe black fruits, cherry, and Mediterranean herbs of laurel, rosemary and thyme, lifted by elegant menthol and eucalyptus and framed by cedar and vanilla. Dry and rich on the palate, with grip, concentration, polished tannins and a juicy flow leading to a long, plush finish.
