About This Wine

Viu Manent's Gran Reserva Carmenère comes from the La Capilla vineyard on the outskirts of Peralillo in the Colchagua Valley, where the Carmenère vines average around three decades of age. A polished take on Chile's signature grape.

Deep red with violet tints. Authentically spicy in character, with blue fruits and subtle notes of toasted coffee, grassy red-pepper hints, redcurrant and plum. The palate is balanced with rich texture and lively tannins, leading to an enjoyable, long finish.
