Domaine Faiveley

The firm that is today known as Domaine Faiveley was started in 1825 by Pierre Faiveley. The company was a traditional négociant at the time, buying and selling wine. However, the Faiveley family has acquired vineyards from generation to generation with a great devotion to the quality of Burgundy's patrimony and is currently one of the largest owners of classed vineyards in the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, and Côte Chalonnaise. Domaine Faiveley, headquartered in Gevrey-Chambertin, announced on October 15, 2013, that it had purchased 20 hectares of vines that had previously belonged to Domaine Dupont-Tisserandot. The company currently has 123 hectares of vineyards overall, of which 12 are grands crus and 27 are premiers crus.
