The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Pruliers 1er Cru was the most closed of Taupenot’s 2018s despite encouragement from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, plenty of black fruit with cracked black pepper and a touch of balsamic towards the finish.
