Trimbach

Since 1626, the Trimbach family has been a benchmark for exceptional Alsace wines, proudly identifying as Alsatian first, French second. Their wines are highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts, and Trimbach has held the title of the United States' number one still wine Alsace producer since 1978. As one of the largest Grand Cru vineyard owners in Alsace, Trimbach's Grand Cru holdings account for an impressive third of their total production. Their commitment to sustainability is underscored by their HVE-3 Organic Certification achieved in 2023, further solidifying their dedication to producing top-tier expressions of their unique terroir.

Three words continue to guide Trimbach's winemaking philosophy: balance, balance, balance. This guiding principle is central to their approach, both in life and in the meticulous care they give to their vines and winery operations. Trimbach's estate spans 58 hectares (143 acres) of vineyards, with Riesling representing half of their production. Their wines are categorized into five key tiers, ranging from the approachable Classics to the super-premium Grands Crus Collections. Across all levels, these wines epitomize the signature Trimbach style: structured, long-lived, fruit-forward, dry, elegant, and perfectly balanced.
