The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has a lively bouquet of brambly red fruit tinged with sous-bois and redcurrant pastilles. Quite delicate and nicely focused. The fresh palate is relatively spicy on the entry and very well balanced, with a little more intensity on the finish than expected. Yet, it retains wonderful composure.
