For over a century, the Fenocchio family has been crafting exceptional wines in Monforte d’Alba, with a legacy dating back to 1894. The transformative chapter began in 1964 when the dynamic Giacomo Fenocchio assumed control of the estate, marking a shift towards excellence. In his relentless pursuit of creating the finest Barolo wines, Giacomo acquired prime vineyards in Cannubi and Castellero, yet his true devotion remained fixed on the heart of Barolo—the esteemed Bussia.

The untimely passing of Giacomo in April 1989 ushered in a new era, placing the reins in the hands of his son, Claudio. Stepping into a Barolo landscape influenced by evolving winemaking trends, Claudio chose to honor tradition amid the surge of a "new way." Embracing organic farming, extensive skin fermentations, and exclusive aging in large Slavonian oak casks, Claudio adhered to the time-honored techniques of the classic style.

Today, the wines crafted by Claudio Fenocchio stand as a testament to his unwavering commitment to tradition and terroir. Exhibiting a remarkable clarity that places them among the elite, these wines showcase the essence of Barolo's finest heritage. Explore the rich history and enduring legacy of the Fenocchio family through each bottle, a harmonious blend of tradition and excellence.
