ILLAHE Vineyards

Illahe, pronounced Ill-Uh-Hee, a local Chinook word meaning earth or place or soil. Brad Ford makes wine as naturally as possible from soil to bottle, working by hand on small lots with age-old techniques and materials focusing on crafting quality Pinot Noir and white wines that express the vintage and their varietal characteristics. No enzymes or additives are used, some of the wines are made entirely by hand, with no electricity or modern mechanization. Pinot Noir aging takes place in French and Oregon oak.
