With humble beginnings, the Wädenswil clone was originally selected by the Swiss Federal Research Center for its ability to ripen in cold climates, but has developed a cult-like following for the intense spice aromas that it is able to achieve. The Wädenswil Pinot Noir clone thrives on our high-elevation site, which is evident in the vintage that explodes with quintessential spice notes, followed by dark notes of kola nut, plum, and blueberry pie. In a word, wöw.
