About This Wine

From Mauro Veglio, the La Morra estate known for classic single-vineyard Barolo. This bottling comes from the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, where limestone and grey marl alternate with sandy substrates — soils that lend Barolo its most structured, powerfully aromatic character. Aged 24 months in large 25-hectoliter French oak casks.

Light ruby red. The nose offers dark cherry fruit alongside ferrous, balsamic and spicy notes. On the palate, dark fruit and cherry are supported by a lively, youthful tannic texture with intense, complex aromatics, an important structure and a marked, herbaceous grip that promises evolution in the cellar.
