The 2018 Sancerre Génération Dix-Neuf (XIX) Rouge is pure and fleshy on the meaty, elegant and pretty reductive nose that reveals dark fruit and licorice aromas reminiscent of plums, blackcurrant, iodine and blood. Smooth and round on the palate, this is a dense, juicy, very elegant and refined Sancerre rouge with fleshy, ripe cherry aromas, fine tannins and a smooth and sweet finish.
