This is a medium to full-bodied Sangiovese with dark and spicy tones that turn to dark fruit and plum. The San Filippo 2018 Brunello di Montalcino le Lucére shows abundant aromas of sour cherry and dried raspberry, giving the wine a bright first impression. After a short time, a second wave of toasted aromas and spices comes in. The finish is soft, lean and polished.
