This wine has structure and complexity from its relatively high proportion of Syrah. Juicy, lifted aromas of cherries, blackberries, smoke, and fresh herbs give way to a sprightly and energetic, yet still nicely concentrated, palate, and the wine finishes quite long and elegant for such an affordable price point.
